Udupi: Ganeshotsav celebrated with gaiety across city

Udupi, 30 Aug 2014: Ganeshotsav was celebrated with gaiety in different temples across the city on Friday August 29.

 

Swami Vishwapriya of Adamar mut inaugurated the Ganeshotsav and cultural programmes that were organized by Ganeshotsav Samiti and auto rickshaw drivers here on Friday.

 

 

The state urban minister Vinay Kumar Sorake, town councilor Yuvaraj, Tenkapete corporator Shyamprasad Kudwa, Ananteshwar temple Vidhwan Vedavyasa Ital was the chief guests of the occasion.

 

The Samiti honorary president Kedarnat Kishore, president Ashok Kumar Kodavoor, vice president Dinesh Putran, T Jayaprakash Kini, Shantaram Salvankar, chief secretary Satyanarayan G Bhat, Bhaskar Rao Kidiyoor, Jayant Kanchan, Dinesh Poojary Moodabettu and others were present.
