Karkal: Coastal District’s first Nemotsav of Monsoon held at Brahma Baidarkala Temple, Hirgana

Karkal, 18 Aug 2014: The costal district’s first Nemotsav of monsoon season was held at the historically famous Brahma Baidarkala Mayandaladevi temple, near Hirgana, here on Monday August 18.
 
 
The five-day annual festivities were also held at the temple ahead of Nemotsav on Monday.
 
 
Thousands of devotees partaken in religious celebration including worshiping Tulunadu heroic icons Koti – Chennaya.

 

 
 
 
The devotees seeking wedding alliance and those couple seeking off springs also offered special puja to temple deities.
 
 
Praveen Bhat Kanangi led the religious celebrations.
 
 
The temple governing council president H Shivanna, secretary Ravindra Poojary, and religious leaders strived for the success of religious celebrations.
