Udupi: Librarians ought to find happiness in readers service - Dr Manjunat

Udupi, Aug 18, 2014: The librarians ought to fully devote themselves in the service of readers, said T A Pai Management Institute (TAPMI) chief librarian Dr Manjunat.

 

Dr Manjunat was speaking after inaugurating Librarians’ Day at St Mary’s College, Shirva, near here on Sunday August 17.  He also offered respects to Dr Ranganatan, patron of librarians.

 

 

St Mary’s education institutions correspondent Fr Stany Tauro in his presidential address urged the students to make the best use of library.

 

St Mary’s College principal Professor Rajan V N called upon the students to extensive utilize the library facilities to become scientists.

 

St Mary’s College librarians Sridar Hegde and Tanuja V Kotian organized the programme.
