Mangalore: Rajasthan Gramina Mela, Exhibition-cum-Sale of Rajasthan Arts & Crafts inaugurated

Mangalore, Aug 2, 2014 : Rajasthan Gramina Mela, an exhibition-cum-sale of Rajasthan Arts and Crafts, including different varieties of artifacts and saris was begun at Hotel Woodlands, here on Saturday August 2.
The mayor Mahabala Marla inaugurated the Rajasthan Gramina Mela here on Saturday.

The exhibition has huge stocks of handloom saris, silk saris and artifacts of different states including Rajastan.
Rajasthan silk saris, Odisha silk saris, kanta-work silk saris, Bagalpur silk saris, Benares silk saris, veg dye block printed saris, Madurai sugudii cotton saris, Samblapuri Ikta saris, handloom cotton saris, Chandar cotton saris, Pounchapalli handloom saris, Polkari-designed Patiala dresses, Polkari bedsheets, sofa covers, cushion covers, Rajasthan bedsheets and other handloom saris are displayed at the exhibition.
Besides, Jodhpur wooden handicrafts, Sarangpur wooden furniture, Hyderabad black metal idols, bronze artifacts, Jaipur jewellery, clay idols, crockery items are available at the exhibition.
