Udupi: NIC Senior Technical Director Dr V S R Krishnaiah visits SMVITM, Bantakal

Udupi, 23 Apr 2017: Dr V Siva Rama Krishnaiah, senior technical director, National Informatics Center, department of electronics and information technology, government of India visited Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management (SMVITM), Bantakal, near here, on April 19.

 

He also addressed the computer science and engineering students on the topic, ‘Why Software Projects Fail?’ He explained how software projects are important because of the advent in technology in Social Media, Mobile, Analytics and Cloud Computing.

 

 

He listed and elaborated 12 reasons for the failure of large software projects and suggested students to be well versed with project management principles.

 

Professor Vasudeva, HoD of CSE welcomed the guest and handed over the memento. Siju V Soman, ISTE faculty coordinator, faculty members attended the talk.
