Karkala: Rakshabhandan strengthens bond among brethrens - Sr Lucy

Karkala, 20 Aug 2016: Rakshabhandan is the festival to strengthen the bond with brethrens disregarding caste, creed and faith, said Sr Lucy Pereira, head teacher of St Joseph’s Higher Primary School, Belman, here.

 

 

Sr Lucy was speaking during Rakshabhandan programme, held at their school on Thursday August 18. She appealed the students to develop human values and serving the humanity.

 

The senior teacher Pundalika offered info on the significance of celebrating Rakshabandan and sang the song of brotherhood.

 

The students and teachers of both Kannada and English medium tied the Rakhi to each other to share the joys of Rakshabhandan.
