Mumbai, 23 March 2016: Fr Edward D’souza (70), parish priest of St John the Evangelist Church, Marol/Mumbai, passed away on 22 March 2016.

Date of Ordination: 04th November 1973

He was very much involved in the neo - catechumenal way of life, in the archdiocese. He was a man of deep faith and was very strong in his prayer life, especially is personal communication with lord, daily. His homilies were always very inspiring.

 

His attitude to life was of compassion and humility like Jesus his master and therefore he always reached out to the poor & under-privileged who were very dear to his heart.
