Karkala: Health awareness workshop held at PHC Belman

Karkala, 22 March 2016: At the joint auspices of district health and family welfare department, office of the Karkala taluk health officer, primary health centre (PHC) Belman, Belman gram panchayat and other social welfare organizations, daylong workshop on health awareness was held for the teachers of primary and high schools, Anganawady workers, representatives of Stree Shakti self-help-groups at PHC auditorium, Belman, near here on Monday March 21.

 

 

Karkala taluk health education officer Sasidar, senior health assistant Shivaram Bhast, counselor Nalinakshi, TB department supervisor Shivakumar were the resource persons. The daylong workshop covered the screening of fetus, contagious and non-contagious diseases, teenage issues, etc. 

 

PHC Belman junior health assistant Samita welcomed the gathering. Asha activist Pushpa compered the programme. Junior health assistant Prashant proposed vote of thanks.
