Udupi: Rotary promotes leadership qualities – Ashok Kumar

Udupi, 21 March 2016: It’s during the mythological era, Rama, Ravana, Krishna, Kamsa and others were living in their own homes. Meanwhile, its in Kaliyug, people of such characters are living and present in different organizations, which makes it difficult for people who head such organizations. If one develops perseverance, manages such characters efficiently for common brotherhood, he/she can become a true leader, said Mangaluru’s renowned civil engineer and Rotary district former assistant governor Ashok Kumar B.

 

Ashok was speaking after inaugurating a training workshop for office bearers of Rotary Club International (RCI) district that was organized by RCI at Rotary auditorium, Bantakal, near here on Sunday March 20.

 

 

Rotary designated assistant governor Dr Gururaj offered info about the workshop.

 

Deputy governor K Satyendra Pai conveyed best wishes for the programme.

 

Rotary district former assistant governor Pundalika Marate, N Tukarama Shetty Nitte, Molahalli Ganesh Shetty Koteshwar, Ashok Kumar Mangaluru was the resource persons.

 

Shekar H Iqbal Ahmed Karkala, Shekar Poojary Nitte, Vignesh Shenoy, Alwyn Nerri Pinto Belman, Dr Arun Hegde Shirva, Anil D’Sa, Naveen Barboza Shankerpura, Peter Raphael Aranha Manipura, Sudhir Kumar, Satish Shetty Kaup, Abdul Hameed, Karunakar Nayak Padubidri and others participated in the workshop.

 

RCI – Shirva president Melvyn D’Souza presided the programme and welcomed the gathering. The former assistant governor K R Patkar delivered the preliminary address. The former president Raghupati Ithal compered the programme. Michael Mathias and Dattatreya Patkar assisted in the programme. Rachita Patkar rendered the prayers.
