Puttur: St Philomena College convenes meeting ahead of NAAC accreditation

Puttur, 29 Jan 2016: As St Philomena College Puttur is in the process of NAAC reaccreditation in the month of March, a joint meeting of the executive Committee members of Parent Teacher Association (PTA) and old students’ Association was held at Spandana Seminar Hall here on Thursday January 28.

 

Speaking on the occasion, campus director of the College Fr Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro said, ‘PTA and old students’ Association are 2 pillars of educational institution. As the peer team appointed by NAAC interacts with the members, everyone has to play a significant role and help the institution in awarding a better grade.’

 

 

The president of PTA Ganesh Rao, president of old students’ Association M R Jayakumar Rai and vice principal Professor Vishnu Bhat were present on this occasion.

 

NAAC steering Committee co-ordinator Professor Ganesh Bhat highlighted the process of reaccreditation.

 

The secretary of old students’ Association Professor Bharath Kumar A welcomed the gathering. The secretary of PTA Dr Vijaya Kumar Moleyar proposed the vote of thanks. IQAC co-ordinator Dr A P Radhakrishna compered the programme.
