Udupi: Republic Day celebrated at Edmer School

Udupi, 27 Jan 2016: The sixty-seventh Republic Day was celebrated with patriotic fervor at Mahabaleshwar Hindu Aided Higher Primary School, Edmer, Kattingeri, near here on Tuesday January 26 morning.


The local entrepreneur and alumnus Sandeep Shetty hoisted the national flag.


Meera Lobo presided the programme.

 

 
The senior teacher Bhaskar Shetty, the School correspondent Sitaram Shetty, Harish Patkar Belanjale and Umesh Mallibettu were present at the dais.

 
The School headmaster Vivekanand Shetty compered the programme. The honorary teachers Asha Nayak, Poornima and Violet assisted in the programme. The alumnus Avith Lobo and Harish Patkar sponsored the sweets that were distributed to the gathering.
