National Youth Week concludes at St Philomena College

Puttur, 23 Jan 2016: The valedictory function of National Youth Week that was held at St Philomena College here was held at their auditorium on January 21.

 

The campus director and chairperson of PG studies of the College Fr Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro was the chief guest.

 

 

Fr Dr Antony in his address said, ‘The golden period of human life is the young age. Most of the famous personalities like Jesus Christ, Thomas Alva Edison, Swami Vivekananda have made remarkable contributions in their young age. It is necessary that each and every citizen of the country should become responsible and follow the teachings of Swami Vivekananda.’

 

The College principal Professor Leo Noronha presided the function.

 

Anarghya presented the prayer song. Co-ordinator of the programme Professor Prashanth Rai welcomed the gathering. The student council president Hadley Wilson Gonsalves proposed the vote of thanks. Ananya compered the programme.
