Udupi: SSLC Preparatory exam camp held for students of state-run hostels

Udupi, 20 Jan 2016: At the joint aegis of Rotary Club – Shankerpura, Dr T Ramesh U Pai Human Resources Centre – Manipal, backward classes and minority department of Udupi taluk, two-day preparatory exam camp was held for Class X students of 7 hostels at Pre-Metric Hostel, Bannanje, near here recently.

 

Dr T Ramesh U Pai Human Resources Centre – Manipal director Professor Dayanand Shetty inaugurated the programme. Speaking on the occasion Professor Shetty explained the importance of shunning inferiority complex and ego through the tales from Mahabharata.

 

 

Udupi taluk backward classes and minority department expansion officer Dayanand P lauded the social welfare activities of Rotary Club – Shankerpura. He also appealed to the hostel students to get I class in the upcoming SSLC exams in retaining the first place that they secured in Udupi district.

 

Rotary Club – Shankerpura president Clifford D’Mello presided the programme. The wards of different hostels Shantabai, Sasidar, Narayan, Ganesh Naik, Ganesh M K, Ashadevi were present.
