Karkala: Sports indeed provides ideal platform to develop personality – Fr Lawrence

Karkala, 16 Dec 2015: The competitive sports indeed bring out the best of talent among the students. The sports also provide scope for personality development, said Fr Lawrence B D Souza, correspondent of St Joseph’s education institutions, Belman here.

 

 

Fr D’Souza was speaking after inaugurating the annual sports meet of St Joseph’s Higher Primary School and English Medium School that has history of 120 years, at Belman, here on Tuesday December 15.

 

Belman assistant parish priest Fr J B Moras, Belman gram panchayat president Mallika Rao, St Joseph’s High School designated head teacher Anita Kamalini, Belman parish council vice president Gregory Menezes, secretary Sewrine D’Sa, Convent superior Sr Usha Stella were the chief guests present at the dais.

 

St Joseph’s English Medium School senior teacher Janet D’Souza welcomed the gathering.  Vincent Pinto, physical education teacher Harshendra Kumar Jain led the march-past, group gymnastics and sports competitions. The teacher Lilly D’Souza proposed vote of thanks.
