Motorcyclist critical after tossed into deep gorge on highway

Bantwal, 26 Nov 2015: A motorcyclist was fatally injured when his bike plunged into nearly 20-feet deep gorge besides the road on Mangaluru – Bengaluru national highway at Budoli, near here on Tuesday November 24 night.

 

 

The fatally injured has been identified as thirty-year-old Manoj, resident of Ichlampady, near Nellyady, here. 

 

The locals have rushed to the spot and taken Majoj to a private hospital at Puttur.

 

The stretch of the highway has no safety railings. The highway authority officials had to be woken up from their deep slumber in erecting the railings on the accident prone location at Budoli along Mangaluru – Bengaluru national highway.
