Highway officials dump soil on numerous pot-holes in B C Road; motorists worried

Bantwal, 24 Oct 2015: The highway officials dumped soil into the numerous huge pot-holes in the busy B C Road here on Friday October 23. The locals expected the officials to patch up the pot-holes with bitumen, but they have decorated the pot-holes with soil that will erode in just one shower as the evenings are cloudy since a few days.

 

 

Although the monsoon has receded since the beginning of October, the highway officials could have repaired the pot-holes that would withstand till the onset of monsoon in next year.

 

The motorists and bus drivers had to face the consequences of muck and slippery road with chances of imminent mishaps. It would give nightmares to two-wheeler riders especially the youth who are always in a hurry without no reason.
