Bantwal: Justice Santosh Hegde urges youth community to boycott corrupt officials

Bantwal, 14 Sep 2015: The nation is immersed in corruption; it’s difficult to find any corruption-free organization including Lokayukta. At this backdrop, the youth community had to take a lead in boycotting the corrupt in the society, said Karnataka the former Lokayukta Justice N Santosh Hegde.

 

Hegde was delivering a talk on social values and effects on its degeneration that was organized by Jaycees International (JCI) – Vittal at Satya Sai Lok Seva Vidya Kendra prayer hall, Alike, near here on Saturday September 12. It was organized by JCI as part of Jaycees Week – 2015.

 

The scams such as 2G, coalgate, drinking water are done by the peoples representatives who held the reigns of administration. The government has no account of Rs 50,000 crore released for drinking water projects, said Hegde.

 

 

Satya Sai Lok Seva Trust chairman U Gangadhar Bhat in his presidential address said, ‘We got to put brake for cheating, scams and corruption. They got to take an oath to do good and be honest in public affairs,’ said Bhat.

 

CET rank holders M S Kishore and Punit V Bhat were felicitated on the same occasion.

 

Satya Sai Lok Seva Trust secretary Madakatte Eshwar Bhat, K Krishna Bhat, correspondent Ramesh Rao, Mangaluru M Friends president entrepreneur Mohammed Hanif Haji Goltamajalu were present.

 

JCI – Vittal president Mohan A welcomed the gathering. Alike PU College principal Prakash Deivajna introduced the rank holders. The lecturer Shiva Kumar compered the programme. The high school headmaster Raghu T Y proposed vote of thanks.
