Udupi: Healthy mind promotes righteous behaviour – Swami Shivanand

Udupi, 24 Aug 2015: One got to be healthy to achieving something worthwhile in life. The healthy mind inspires better thoughts that lead to healthy society. It in turn contributes for stronger nation.  Health is indeed wealth, said Swami Shivanand Saraswati of Kaivalya mutt.

 

Swami Saraswati was speaking after inaugurating free health checkup camp that was organized in association with KMC Hospital, Manipal, here by Rajapura Saraswat Brahmin (RSB) Sangh® Bantakal- Manipal as part of golden jubilee celebrations at RSB auditorium, Manipal, here on Sunday August 23.

 

 

Swami Saraswati further said, ’the food habits, chaotic life, pollution has taken toll on our body and mind. It’s essential to go for health checkup periodically. The spirituality, social concern, religious practices promotes discipline, while daily worship helps to rejuvenate body and mind,’ said Swami Saraswati.

 

The office bearers of Sangh were present. Dr Ranjan Shetty, Dr Umesh Prabhu, Sangh secretary Yellare Panduranga Kamat, Vittaldas Prabhu and Shrisha Nayak was also present.

 

RSB Sangh president Upendra Nayak presided the programme. Krishnanand Nayak proposed vote of thanks.
