Udupi: Unions of Public Transport at Bantakal donate daily necessities to Vishwasadamane

Udupi, 01 Apr 2015: The taximen’s Union and auto rickshaw owners and drivers Union of Bantakal, near Shirva donated groceries and clothes worth Rs 10,000 to Vishwasadamane – rehabilitation center for destitute and mentally challenged, Shankarapura, near here on Monday March 30.

 

 

Vishwasadamane chief functionary Pastor Sunil D’Souza’s wife Elizabeth and Edward Menezes received the donation and thanked the unions for their humanitarian deed towards less fortunate inmates.

 

The taximen’s Union president Henry Fernandes, auto rickshaw owners and drivers Union president Ravi Kulal, Shirva gram panchayat member Alwyn Saldanha, Shankar Kotian, past president Vincent Castelino Palke, Vincent Mathias, Dinesh Devadiga, Satish, Shailesh, Shivaraj, Wilson D’Souza, Jaya Serigar, Yashwant Rao, Umesh Rao, Manjunat Poojary and others were present.
