Beltangady: SHGs striving for societal change – Dr Heggade

Beltangady, 20 Aug 2014: The key objective of self-help-groups (SHGs) is to help fellowmen in difficulty with trust and love, thereby achieve societal progress, said Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Dr D Veerendra Heggade.

 

 

Dr Heggade was speaking during the distribution programme of furniture and fixtures to state-run schools, at H D Kote on Tuesday August 20.  Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project (SKDRDP) donated the furniture and fixtures as a social responsibility to state-run schools.

 

Dr Heggade expressed happiness over SHGs in their endeavor to bring about societal progress.
