Community initiative is an integral part of CIS. This is just one of the projects undertaken by students as part of the IB CAS program at CIS. Through the CAS (Creativity, Action, and Service) programme, all students at CIS are given opportunities to develop awareness of different communities and their needs.

“Each year it gives me immense pleasure to see the joy on the faces of the families when they see their houses getting a fresh coat of paint.  Our students also enjoy the physical labour though they complain of arm pain at the end of the day”, said Priya Anand, Community Service Coordinator of CIS.

“It is an amazing opportunity to be able to help the less fortunate even though it is just a small gesture of painting” said Nida Ajmal (IB1 Student).

“I happy to be given a chance to contribute my time and effort to a wonderful charitable cause,” saidKunal Sharma (IB1 Student).
