Hassan: Deve Gowda focuses on Shortlisting Candidates

Hassan, 22 Sep 2013: JDS will shortlist the candidates to contest from the district for the upcoming parliamentary elections, said the former PM H D Deve Gowda.

Addressing the media persons after attending second quarterly district level partiy activists meet held at zilla panchayat auditorium here on Saturday September 21, Deve Gowda said, ‘First of all JDS candidates to contest in 28 parliamentary constituencies has to shortlisted,’ said Deve Gowda.  Meanwhile, he expressed concern over addressing the grievances of district in just 3 minutes in the parliament as the issues galore.  He also recalled bitter memories of being PM faced with numerous of issues and always under pressure in administration, recalled Deve Gowda.

 

JDS aims to strengthen the party in the next 5 years.  Hassan being the historical town needs an airport and hoped it becomes reality soon.
