Udupi: Greatest Honor for Armed Personnel to Lay Down Life for Nation – Valerian

Udupi, 14 Sep, 2013 : The youth of both Udupi and Dakshina Kannada district rarely join Indian armed forces.  The natives of northern India take pride in joining the armed forces.   One does not get religious sentiments of whatsoever in armed forces, because everyone is committed to serve Mother India.  The armed personnel get fully charged whenever the order to strike comes to their cadre who are eve ready in combat.  It’s the great honor for an armed personnel to lay down his life for the sake of the country, said Valerian Aranha, retired Indian navy personnel and State Bank of India, senior branch manager of Shirva.

 

 

Valerian Aranha was sharing his experience in Indian navy during a function held at Rotary Club – Shirva, here on Friday September 13.

 

All the three wings of Indian armed forces are superior in every sense, while the infiltrations, cross fire along LoC between India – Pak border are ever continued owing to lack of political will, said Valerian.

 

Valerian also urged the youngsters from undivided Dakshina Kannada district to join Indian armed forces and also explained the benefits of joining.
Rotary Club – Shirva president Leo Noronha presided the programme and welcomed the gathering.
