Catholic Sabha organizes parish level elocution contest

Moodubelle, 08 Sept 2013: Catholic Sabha Moodubelle unit organized a speech contest at the parish level on 01 September 2013. The program was held in the premises of English Medium High School, which began with prayers led by Parish Pastoral Council Secretary Mrs. Jacintha D’Souza.

 
Unit President Mrs. Helen D’Souza welcomed the guests and the gathering and also introduced the guests. The guests on the occasion were; Catholic Sabha Udupi Varado President Louis Almeida Manipal and Roshan Sequeira from Kuntal Nagar.

 

 
Charles Quadros briefed the rules and regulations of the speech contest to the participants. Speaking further he said that wining is secondary, but most important is to use this platform to extract your talents and as such everyone is winner, he said wishing them well.

 
Forty youngsters took part in the competition and also their family members were present on the occasion who encouraged them. After the contest Luis Almeida appreciated the contestants and wished them well in their future endeavors.

 
Secretary of Moodubelle Unit of the Catholic Sabha, Mrs.Emilia Noronha in her vote of thanks thanked everyone for their efforts in conducting this event. The program concluded with a hymn.
