Udupi: Peasant Raghavendra Nayak of Shirva bags District Top Progressive Farmer Award

Udupi, 8 Jun 2013: The progressive farmer Raghavendra Nayak of Shirva, near here b aged Udupi district top progressive farmer Award.

The Award comprised Rs 10,000 cash and a citation letter was presented to Raghavendra during the inaugural function of Bhochetana taluk-level workshop that was organized by Udupi ZP agricultural department here recently.

 

Udupi taluk Krushik Samaj president Subashit Kumar inaugurated the programme.

Udupi TP president Gowri V Poojary presided the function.

The joint director Anthony Immanuel Maria, assistant agriculture director C Krishnaswamy Rao, Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project – project officer Malati, Brahmavar – Agriculture Research Centre assistant professor Dr S V Patil and Dr Dhananjaya were present at the occasion.
