Print Bangalore, 5 Jun 2013: St Joseph’s Pre-University College, near Anekal, here celebrated World Environment Day on Wednesday June 5.
The specialty of this progrmme was that it was combined with the new academic year of the college. The college welcomed new students to the portal of St Joseph with the welcome dance and speeches by Fr Cyprian Tellis SJ, College principal Krishnamurti M.
The specialty of whole programme was that the present toppers (second years) set the examples to the new comers. At the end of the programme the college Toppers planted the sapling around the campus symbolizing the growth of the individual.
