Hassan: ABVP Stages Protest Condemning Naxal Attack

Hassan, 28 May 2013: The students led by ABVP here on Monday May 27, staged protest condemning the naxal attack in Chattisgarh a few days ago.

The naxals blew up the convoy of Congress leaders in Bastar district of Chattisgarh state of northern India a few days ago.  Twenty people died in the massacre. The civil society condemns the barbarous act of naxals who have been causing casualties of police and armed personnel for over a decade.  The destructive forces are trying to destabilizing the country by creating terror, alleged the protesters.

 

 

The protesters held a protest rally from Hemavati statue passing through N R Roundabout and held a sit-in in front of the office of Deputy Commissioner.

The protesters presented a memorandum to the district administration urging both union and state governments in order to stem the naxal overtures without inviting them for talks.

ABVP state executive Committee president Naresh, assistant secretary Mahipal, Arun, Yatish, Sujay, Swamy, Komal, Akshat, Rakesh and Bindu led the protest at the occasion.
