M’lore: DK & Udupi District Level Badminton, Swimming Competition – 2013 held in City

Mangalore, 27 May 2013: Dakshina Kannada (DK) and Udupi district level FISHCO Cup badminton tournament and swimming competition – 2013 was held at indoor games and swimming pool complex of College of Fisheries, here on Sunday May 26.  It was organized by Karnataka Veterinary, Animal and Fisheries Sciences University (KVAFSU), Bidar, in association with College of Fisheries, here, Valencia, Jeppu and Ace Badminton Clubs, here.

 

 

MLA J R Lobo inaugurated the competitions here on Sunday morning. College of Fisheries dean Dr K M Shankar presided the inaugural function.

Dakshina Kannada district badminton Association president and Sri Devi Education Trust chairman A Sadanand Shetty, KVAFSU council member Vasudev Byndoor and businessman Ivan Pinto were the chief guests of the occasion.

Valencia, Jeppu and Ace Badminton Clubs vice president Ramanand and Shepherd Badminton Club president C E Shepherd distributed the prizes to the winners during the concluding ceremony held on Sunday evening.
