M�lore: MLA J R Lobo back in action to address Grievances of people at Old Padav Road

Mangalore, 16 May 2013: MLA J R Lobo surveyed the damage caused by ongoing digging works undertaken by the contractor of Mangalore City Corporation (MCC) on Old Padav Road that bifurcates at Bikarnakatte, here on Wednesday May 15.

 

 

MCC had given green signal to concreting Padav Road that required digging up to 10 feet on 800 meters road, out of which 300 meters were already dug up damaging the compound walls without any easy access to their household.  It also fully blocked the access to an upcoming residential building complex, even for fire tenders in case of emergencies.

 

The distressed locals informed MLA Lobo, who called municipal commissioner Dr Harish Kumar to arrive at the spot and instructed him to carry out the works without causing inconvenience to the local residents.
