Kallianpur Deanery level SCC Training & Seminar at Milagres Cathedral

Kallianpur,13 Mar 2013: Training & Seminar for Small Christian Communities of Kallianpur Deanery level was held on Sunday, 10th March at Milagres Tri-centenary Hall here. Rector of Milagres Cathedral & Dean of Kallianpur Deanery Very Rev Fr. Stany B. Lobo inaugurated the seminar.

During inaugural address Fr. Stany Lobo said that small christian communities have become something of a phenomenon that wanted to create a new way of being church and would become vehicles of social service. It has made for us personally is to bring us to a different concept of faith. The love and concern shown among the people has to be the result of our small communities through service in our society.

 

After the welcome prayer deanery director of SCC Rev Fr. Sunil of Pethri Church placed brief report with statistics of eight church’s SCC that includes total meetings, services in percentage level. The training was held after breake of two years and what we learned and can convey our people.

The main resource person of the seminar was Rev Fr. Alphonse D’Lima & team of Gangolli parish of Kundapur deanery. Seminar was started with short skit led by Fr. Alphonse D’Lima along with Vinod Gangulli noted artist and film director of Angelina. To know about the kingdom of God and family life and family life.

Group discussions and various other programmes were held under deanery level convenors Fr. Sunil and Vivian Cornelio of Kemmannu. During full day trainning and seminar around 350 people of eight church’s of Kallianpur deanery were participated. Patrick D’Silva of Barkur proposed vote of thanks. Roshan D’Souza of Kolalgiri compered the programmes.
