Udupi: Over 150 Cattle Treated During Free Camp in Shirva

Udupi, 09 Mar 2013: At the joint aegis of Udupi ZP, Shirva gram panchayat, Rotary Club – Shirva, Lions Club – Manchakal and veterinary clinic – Shirva, free camp on treatment of barren livestock and administering drops for fever in livestock was held at Marigudi temple premises, Shirva, near here on Friday March 8.

 

Lions district governor Dr Madhusudan Hegde inaugurated the programme.

Udupi TP member Krishna Poojary, village elder Kutty Shetty Shirva, milk producers Union president Sacchidanand Hegde, Shirva Lions Club president Melvyn Aranha, Shirva gram panchayat member Venkatesh Prabhu, Dr Arun Hegde and others were present at the occasion.

Over 150 cattle were offered treatment and administered drops at the occasion.
