Rumours on Udupi Temple has all on tenterhooks

Udupi, 28 Feb 2013: Rumors spread in the Temple Town on Wednesday that something dreadful would befall on May 13, 2013 after ’asthamangala prashne’ held at Sri Madanantheshwara temple on Tuesday reportedly said there would be dire consequences because of mistakes occurred in rituals performed at the Sri Krishna Temple.

 

However later temple manager of Sri Madanantheshwara temple, Vishnu, was quoted by a news portal as saying "there is no reason for devotees to fear about the rumour". "Asthamangala prashne raised some issues on the cleanliness at the temple premises and it will be addressed," he added.

 

Repeated efforts by TOI to reach the manager did not yield results.

 

Asthamangala prashne is a detailed study to find out root causes of problems and the remedy to them using numerology and astrology.
