Annual School Day Celebrated in Pamboor Aided Higher Primary School

Pamboor, 10 feb 2013: Annual day celebration was held in Pamboor Aided Higher Primary School on 08 February 2012. In the morning flag hoisting ceremony was held which started at 9:30am. Rev.Fr.Charles Lewis, correspondent of the school was the president of the flag hoisting ceremony. The chief guest of the Mr. Fedrick Saldanha. Besides, Headmaster of the school Mr. Herald D’Mello and villagers were present. The programme started with the prayer. The chief guest distributed the prizes to the students who won in different competitions. Student performed a march fast and a mass drill, Mr.Fredrick Saldanha conveyed his wishes and appreciated the students and teachers.

 

 

The evening program started at 6pm with a welcome dance by the students and a dance by small kids from Anganavadi.  Rev.Fr.Charles Lewis presided over the programme. Mr. Harish Shetty was the chief guest.  President of SMPT association Mr.Shiva, President of Parent Teacher association Mr.Ronald Sequeira were present at this occasion. The headmaster of the school Mr. Herald D’mello read the annual report.  Mr. Harish congratulated the school committee members and also appreciated the discipline that is taught to the students in  Catholic Schools. Harish Shetty gave away the prizes to the students who scored highest marks in the annual examinations. The donors who helped with the contribution for the school day were thanked giving a flower by Fr. Charles. There was an entertainment program by the students followed by a drama. The program ended at 10pm.
