Lokayukta Police Nabs Village Accountant of Sooda GP while Accepting Bribe

Karkal, 3 Feb 2013: Lokayukta police nabbed a village accountant while accepting bribe for providing a survey-map of property, in Sooda Gram Panchayat (GP), near here on Wednesday January 30.
The sleuths arrested Keshav Moily, who is employed as village accountant in Sooda gram panchayat, near here while accepting bribe from Sirajuddin, a native of Sooda village, here on Wednesday.
Sirajuddin had applied for survey of his relative’s property, while Keshav Moily has demanded a bribe of Rs 11,000 that was duly given by Sirajuddin. Meanwhile, Keshav Moily demanded more bribe to hand over the papers. The frustrated Sirajuddin lodged the complaint with Lokayukta police in this regard.
Lokayukta sub-inspectors Dinesh Kumar and Timmayya laid the trap to nab Keshav Moily, by sending Sirajuddin with marked currency of Rs 3,000. Lokayukta police arrested Keshav Moily red-handedly while accepting the bribe.
