Pulse Polio 2013 programme at Pernankila

Moodubelle, 26 Jan 2013: First phase activities of pulse polio 2013, have been conducted at primary health center, peranankila on 20th january 2013.  Children of age under five were vaccinated with two drops of polio vaccine at nine booths in Moodubelle panchayath, Gandhinagar anganwadi, sub center Kayyingeri, Edmeru anganwadi, Primary health center, Peranankila, Kudi, Kodibettu, Kajaragutthu and Onthibettu anganwadis.

 

In Peranankila health center, Kodibettu village president smt. Sandhya shetty inaguarated the programme.  Medical officer dr. Krishnaprasad, pharmacist ramesh nayak, lhv t n Sujatha , Sr health worker Krishnappa, Jyothi Kiran were present at the occasion . 
Over 830 children were vaccinated and a target of 96% is achieved. Activities will further be conducted in next two days, by visiting every household by health workers, Asha workers and anganawadi workers.

At Moodubelle panchayath polio booth was inaugurated by panchayath president Rajendra Shetty.  Anm Sumathi, anganwadi workers Sunitha and Gracy and volunterr Sujatha administered polio vaccine to over 150 children in polio booth .
