M’lore: Minor girl sexually assaulted in Sullia

Print Mangalore, 23 Jan 2013 (TOI): A 16-year-old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted by Ashraf, resident of Ubaradka at Mithuru village in Sullia taluk on Tuesday.
The victim, a resident of the same village, who was doing odd jobs, was lured by the accused and taken to his home, where he allegedly sexually assaulted her.
The accused also threatened to harm the victim if she disclosed the incident to anyone. A case of rape, wrongful confinement along with criminal intimidation has been registered in Sullia police station on a complaint from the victim.
Sudarshan, Circle Police Inspector, Sullia is investigating the case.
