Udupi: Former PM A B Vajpayee’s 88th Birthday Celebrated at Kuteera Ashram, Majoor

Udupi, 01 Jan 2013: The former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s eighty-eighth birthday and Christmas was celebrated at Kuteera Ashram, an old age home located at Majoor, near here on Sunday December 30.  It was organized by local BJP committee.


 
Majoor village council president Ganesh Shetty presided the programme and distributed Christmas goodies, bed sheets to 20 inmates of Kuteera Ashram.

 

 


 
The Ashram in-chargers Beena Bernard and Vikhyata Jayakumari, BJP local committee president Krishna Rao Karandady, Ravindra Shetty, Aziz Majoor, Gopal Naik, Ramadas Prabhu Shankarapura, Shankar Kulal and Umesh Naik were present at the occasion.


 
Krishna Rao welcomed the gathering.  Beena Bernard proposed vote of thanks.
