Karkal: Public Instruction Department Braces to Online School Info in Taluk

Karkal, 22 Dec 2012: The monthly meeting of teachers representing Nandalike and Mundkoor cluster of Belman circle, Karkala block of public instruction department was held at St Joseph’s School, Belman, near here on Friday December 21.  The education co-ordinator and nodal officer Shailaja Hegde presided the meeting.

 

 
Block resource person Sanjeev Devadiga provided the live update on state education department.

 

  

Nagaraj K M, project manager of Bangalore based Village Multimedia along with local co-ordinator Francis D’Souza held the live demonstration of incorporating all the information related to developing data base on school admissions, daily activities etc in Kannada.  The additional emphasis was laid on learning computer applications by all teaching staff in this regard.

 
The aided school teachers’ Association president V K Rao Nandalike, taluk Association vice president Satish Shetty, district Association secretary Laxmikanth Bhat were present at the dais.

 
Nandalike cluster co-ordinator Panduranga Shetty welcomed the gathering.  Mundkoor cluster co-ordinator Chandrakanth D’Sa provided information on state education department.
