Moodubelle: Sports day observed in Jnanganga PU College

Moodubelle, 04 Dec 2012: On 30th  November 2012, Jnanaganga P U College  observed the  Sports day. In the morning at 9.30 the sports day started with march fast , flag hoisting and oath taking by Roynal Machado. Guests were welcomed by Sri U L Bhat, the Principal.

 

 

 
The sports day was inaugurated by Sri Sakharam Shetty. In  his inaugural speech he advised the students be active in both physical activity as well as studies and wished them good luck.  Prabhakar S, Secretary of Jnanaganga P U College joined as chief guest and advised the students to keep up the dreams. The Program was concluded by vote of thanks by Raghu Kadur, Physical Director of the college. The function was witnessed by Mrs Mohini Pai who encouraged by announcing cash prize for the champions. The master of ceremony was Miss Kavya.

 
On the same day afternoon, valedictory program was presided by Nagaraj Kamath. The guests were welcomed by Principal U L Bhat. Kamath addressing the students said that when the opportunities are there they should utilize them to the fullest. He also gave away the prizes to the winners in different events. Mrs. Kamalakshi Prakash proposed the vote of thanks and Miss Poornima compeered the programme.
