Grand Silver Jubilee Celebration of Yuva Vranda Bantakal

Udupi/Shirva, 18 July 2012: “ Youth power being the great strength of the society. When youth organizations become financially sound and when they become leaders of the society and g active there is a chance for in all around progress of the society.  When some youth loose their direction, only an advise from bright youth can bring a change in them.  For them youth only the advisers and lead by good example by their good deeds”  said Udupi Town Development Officer Ramananda Nayak here on July 15, 2012.
 
 
He was speaking on the occasion of Silver Jubilee Celebration of Rajapura Saraswata Yuva Vranda Bantakal held at the Sri Durgaparameshwari Temple on Sunday.  While lighting the traditional lamp to inaugurate the celebrations, Sri Ramananda Nayak said that Bantakal Yovavrinda has selected a few bright youth and are encouraging them to lead a dignified and valuable life along with progress of the society.  They are also actively participating in temple duties.  All these activities of the youth are praise worthy and to be applauded.

 

 

The chief guest of the day Sri Devendra Nayak (Head Master High School), Shirva St. Mary’s College, also spoke on the occasion and praised the Bantakal Yuvavranda and appreciated their efforts in arranging Health Cards for Konkani community of society.  During the occasion Sri B. Anantram Bhat (Retired Head Master Bantakal School) was felicitated by temple administrator Moktesara Vishwanat Nayak Bellatre and Temple Organizing committee President Sadambaillu Shashidar Vagle. 

 
 
As part of Silver Jubilee celebrations felicitation ceremony was held for the S.S.L.C. students who passed with highest marks in the recent exams namely; Vishwambhar Bhatt, Bantakal, Srinat Patkar, Shriva, Nagesh Prabhu Sooda, Raksha Nayak Mudarangadi, Srivya R. Nayak Santoor, Kavya Vagle Shirva and Pragati Nayak Pangimaru honoured with traditional shawl, cash and mementos.

 
Also felicitated were the P.U.C. Students who passed with distinctions namely; Akila Nayak Mudarangadi, Pooja Patkar Bantakal, Amrit Nayak Heroor Mudarangadi, Premchandra Nayak Panjimar honoured with traditional shawl, cash and mementos.

 
The President of Yuva Vranda K.R. Patkar who also conducted the entire event, while addressing the gathering said that many social activities are being implemented as part of the Silver Jubilee Celebrations such as arrangement of basic necessities to the poor toilets, Electricity, Student Award Trust including building garden for the temple.  The emcee of the celebration Devdas Patkar organized the function successfully with the support of Umesh Prabhu Palame, Anantram Wagle.  Secretary of Vuva Vranda Umesh Patkar proposed Vote of Thanks.
