Belman: School Parliament inaugurated

Belman, 22 June 2012: St. Joseph Higher Primary School Student’s Parliament and oath taking ceremony was conducted on Saturday. In the election held on Thursday School Headmistress was the election Officer and guided the students. Senior Teacher Vincent Pinto became the Polling Officer and the Senior Students assisted and performed their duties.

 

 
Similar to the democratic election the election campaign, nomination submission, verification, announcement of selected candidates, election canvassing, preparation of polling papers, vote counting and the declaration of the results were all systematically done.

 
Rachitha Shetty as the Chief Minister, Pramod as the Deputy Chief Minister and the Ministers for Home, Defense, Health, Water, Agriculture, Sports, Cultural, Discipline, Cleanliness, Bisiyoota and also from opposition leaders oaths were taken.

 
Prajwal Acharya, Rolita D’Souza, Venzil Noronha, Maruthi, Sneha, Rivi D’Souza, Shwetha, Soujanya, Ritesh Kulal, Sapna, Akash Putran, Sushma, Prakyath Shetty, Ranjita, Prithesh, Sunita, Akshay, Deeksha, Nagaraj Acharya, Shradha, Kiran, Rakshita, Suhas Kumar, Sumanth, Jenita Andrade, Pooja and Girish took up responsibilities of various portfolios.
