Karkala: Transformation with internal discipline

Karkala, 19 June 2012: The addiction which one gets into due to weakness of mind will rule the entire the life. Alcoholism, Smoking, Gambling and desires spoils the human relationships and also one looses health, money and honour. Only when internal discipline is adopted, then transformation in life is possible, said Belman St. Joseph Higher Primary School Teacher B. Pundalika Marathe Shirva.

 

 

He was speaking as the resource person on the occasion of hundred days celebration of camp for giving up alcoholism, jointly organized by Shrikshethra Gramabhivradhi Yojane and Janajagrathi Vedike at Karkala Kukkundoor Shri Durga Higher Primary School premises. Among all the living creatures, human life is the greatest and when one adopt healthy habits which brings peace of mind, enthusiasm and personality development, then it will be possible to stay away from the addiction of bad habits.

Camp Officer Thimmappa Nayak of Shrikshethra spoke on the occasion and briefed on the outcome of the camp, the lives of the campers and also on the new projects of Shrikshethra. The program was inaugurated by Janajagrathi Vedike Karkala Zone President Kamalaksha Nayak. Committee President kukkundoor Ravi Shetty presided over the program. Gopalakrishna welcomed, Pravin compeered the program and Savitha proposed vote of thanks.
