Annual Day and Awards Ceremony – 2012

Manipal, 05 March 2012: Manipal Institute of Management celebrated its Annual Day and Awards Ceremony on 3 March, 2012. The Chief Guest of the function was Dr. G K Prabhu, the Registrar of Manipal University. The function was presided over by Dr. Indira Bairy, the Director of Student Affairs, Manipal University.

Dr. GK Prabhu urged the students of the institute to become Smart Managers by practicing qualities such as Simplicity, Multitasking Ability, positive Attitude, Result-oriented approach and Time-bound execution. Dr. Indira Bairy advised the students on leading a healthy life. She called for the practice of the gratitude towards one’s Alma Matre.

 

 

Prof. P Ramakrishna Chadaga, the Director of the institute presented the annual report of the institute. Dr. GK Prabhu released the annual report ‘DISHA-2012’.Awards were distributed to students who had made a mark in different areas such as sports & games, cultural contests, management festivals and academics.

The function was graced by dignitaries such as Dr. R C Natarajan, the Director of TAPMI, Manipal, Dr. MS Rajashekar, the Director of Manipal College of Allied Sciences, Prof MM Shanbhag, and the Director of Manipal Jewellery Management, among several others.

The Annual Day was marked with a glittering cultural performances of talented students of the institute.
