Udupi: We will win with memories of Dr. V.S. Acharya – DVS

Udupi, 27 February 2012: We will win the Udupi – Chickmagalur locksabha election with the memories of Dr. V.S. Acharya who passed away recently, said Chief Minister D.V. Sadananda Gowda. Chief Minister who came to Udupi to attend the rituals of Dr. Acharya on Sunday said that, today Dr. Acharya is not with us, we do not know what the result would have been if he was with us, which is a different question. But in his memory the people of Udupi district will vote for BJP, he said.

 

 

 

Dr. Acharya had offered himself to the principles he believed in his whole life. His principles and hinduthwa thoughts are still in the peoples mind in Udupi. Whatever the differences in the state politics, just remembering his name the people will vote for BJP and this time BJP will win with more votes than the previous times, said DVS.

 

Dr. Acharya in a way was my teacher and a father, who filled strength in me while working amongst the political turbulence. Participating in his rituals today is my duty and at this moment I will not talk on the state politics, he said as he boarded his car.
