Nomination submittal of the BJP and Congress Candidates

Udupi, 23 February 2012: February 29 will be the last date for submitting the nomination and BJP candidate Sunil Kumar will be submitting his nomination on the same day. In the occasion of submitting the nomination with a huge procession there is possibilities of the participation of BJP State President K.S. Eshwarappa and other BJP ministers and the MLA’s of both districts.

 

 
On Wednesday in BJP district office under the leadership of Mangalore MP Nalin Kumar Kateel preliminary election meeting was held and in that meeting Jilla BJP President Udayakumar Shetty, Senior Party leader Somashekara bhat, candidate Sunil Kumar and others participated. Speaking to the reporters Kareel said that, since this election has drawn attention of the nation, many leaders of the nation will participate in the election rally, he said.
 
Congress party candidate Jayapraksh Hegde will submit his nomination on 27th February. On that occasion AICC Secretary Oscar Fernandes, KPCC Secretary Vasantha Salyan and state level leaders will be present. There are efforts to bring Rahul Gandhi or Priyanka Gandi for the election rally. Already the preparation of strategy for addressing for the election has begun, for this on Wednesday party leaders held their meeting in Kaup. The meeting was led by Former Minister Vasantha Saliyan. Kaup Block President Gangadhara Suvarna, Kaup Divakara Shetty, Aziz Hejamadi, Jilla Panchayath Former President Sarasu Bangera had participated.
 
For submitting the nomination in a procession from Udupi to Manipal on 2th February is planned. Also on the same day huge public rally has been planned in Christian P.U. College grounds near Mission Compound.
