Shirva: Silver Jubilee Celebration of Padoor Rotary Community

Shirva, 12 February 2012: Padoor Rotary Community which was patronized by the Shirva Rotary celebrated its Silver Jubilee on Friday at the founder President “Late Satish Shetty Rangamatapa”. Shirva Rotary’s Senior member Dr. N.S. Shetty Heroor Abbettuguttu participated as the chief guest and felicitated Senior Vastu expert and Astrologer Padoor Dharmaraja Indra and appreciated the achievements of the Club during these 25 years, which was founded under the leadership of Satish Shetty.
 
Rotaty Deputy Governor K.R. Patkar felicitated Jyothi Shetty – Charted Accountant in Bangalore and then briefed on the contributions of the Rotary community and Rotary Club to the society. Kaup MLA Lalaji Mendon spoke on the occasion and said that, in the developments of the society the role of the Associations is most important and briefed on the development works done by the government.

 

 
Other guests and dignitaries present on the dias were;   Shirva Rotary President Ronald Sequeira, Samudaya Dala President Mattaru Shantharama Wagle, Jilla Panchayath Member Arun Shetty Padoor, Taluk Panchayath Member Anita Shetty, Majoor Grama Panchayath President Ganesh Shetty Heroor and Mahila Mandala President Lata Shetty.
 
The program was presided over by Samudaya Dala Representative Prakasha Acharya. Secretary Arun Shetty read the report. Ravindra Acharya introduced the winners in the competition. Subrahamanya Aythal in his introductory note welcomed the guests and the gathering. Harikrishna Aythal, Shrinivasa Aythal and gururaja Aythal introduced the guests. Neelananda Nayak compeered the program. Anganavadi, Mahila Mandala and Community members presented cultural programs. In the morning the flag hoisting was conducted by Padoor CSI Church Priest Rev. S. Vijaya.
