Karkala, 02 February 2012: In a bike accident in Danashale of Kasaba Grama, the bike rider has died. The deceased Charles Mendonsa (62) of Ramera Guttu of Miyyaru Grama was riding in his bike in high speed and as he lost control rolled over on the road and he was seriously injured. He was taken to Karkala Government hospital, but could not recover and died. As per the complaint of Vincent the case has been registered in Karkala Police Station.

 
Byndoor, 02 February 2012: A rare Mother – Son twin suicide has taken place for the property in Aremane Hitlu of Shiruru Grama. The deceased are Mother Shakuntala and Son Satish Prabhu. This mother and the son were always having quarrel on the property issue. On Monday alos they had quarrel and son Satish Prabhu abused his mother with bad language.
 
Upset with this Shakuntala in the afternoon at 1.30 pm jumped into the well and killed herself, complained her another son Harish Prabhu, to Baindoor Police Station. At the same time the accused Satish Prabhu also hanged himself to a tree at 2.30 pm and killed himself. His brothers Jagadish Prabhu and Harish Prabhu are the reason for his death, complained Satish Prabhu’s wife Divya to the Police Station. Both the cases have been registered in the police station.
