Shirva: Grand 63rd Urus Celebration held

Shirva, 28 January 2011: On the occasion of Assayed Ahmed Hasan Valiyalla’s 63rd Urus celebration and 4th annual Sylat program, attractive procession was held from Noorul Jamalia Madrasa in Shirva town to Sunni Jamia Masjid, conducted by Ahmed Asaniya Youngmens on Saturday. In the night Dhaf competitions were held. Shirva Masjid Khatib Janab Maulana Sirajuddin Zaini presided over the program.

 

 

Tarikere Zamia Bazar Masjid Imam Janab Maulana Zubiyulla Khan Nizami presented prasanga. The program began on Friday with unfurling of the flag after the Friday prayers at Masjid by Khatib Haji Rahamatulla Abdul Khadir and then the Urus program. On Sunday morning the procession was conducted from Thopanangadi Badriya Madrasa along with prayers and then Annadana was conducted.
