CM Inaugurates “Kushala Shekara Shetty Int’l Auditorium”

Shirva, 21 January 2012: Chief Minister D.V. Sadananda Gowda inaugurated “Kushala Shekara Shetty International Auditorium” built with a cost of rupees 4.5 crores by Kalattoor Shekara Shetty for the people of his native place in Kalattoor Chandranagara near Shirva, on Tuesday evening. Speaking on the occasion Chief Minister said that this auditorium having complete facility which has been built with a service mind without expecting anything is return has been a blessing to the people of this region.
 
Speaking further CM appreciated the contribution of Shekar Shetty couples and said that they have done the work with their own earnings which should have been actually done by the government. Chief Minister then felicitated Shekar Shetty - Kushala Shetty couple. Their daughters Chandini and Roshani were present on the occasion. The architect and contractor of the building young Engineer Jeevan K. Shetty – Anuradha J. Shetty couple were felicitated by the Chief Minister.

 

 
 
 
The “paddakka Babu Shetty” stage was inaugurated by District In Charge Minister Dr. V.S. Acharya by lighting the lamp. “Narayana Dining Hall” was inaugurated by K.S. Hegde medical College Deen Dr. Shantharam Shetty. “Roshani Mini Hall” was inaugurated by Nitte Group of Education Director Dr. B.R. Shetty. “Vatika” Auditorium was inaugurated by MP Oscar Fernandes.
 
Kateel Shridurgaparameshvari Temple Chief Archaka Vedamurthy Anantha Padmanabha Asranna gave asheervachana. Majoor Masjid Mulla Abdul Rashid Sakhafi and Kalattoor Church Priest Rev. Fr. Henry Fernandes conveyed best wishes. The program was presided over by Kaup MLA Lalaji R. Mendon. Bellary Entrepreneur spoke in his introductory note.
 
On the dias Former Minister K. Amaranatha Shetty, Vasantha V. Salian, B. Nagaraja Shetty, MLC Capt Ganesh Karnik, Kota Shrinivasa Poojary, A.J Shetty Mangalore, K. Manmohan, Sadananda Shetty, Ravi S. Guests were welcomed with garlands, shawl and memento by Shekar B. Shetty and Kushala S. Shetty. Sainath Shetty Mundkur compeered the program. Umesh Shetty Kalattoor proposed vote of thanks. The guests were taken in a colourful procession from Chandranagara to the auditorium. The programs were concluded with the cultural programs and dinner.
