Shirva: Human Religion is superior - Swamiji

Shirva, 18 December 2011: Though there was no education among our ancestors, they had broad thinking and were finding soul of God even in a stone. But today we have education and as the science is developing, we see the stone in the soul. The corruption has spread all over in every field and the relationship among humans is getting worse. Therefore the multinational companies are attacking on the culture of villages. The cordial get-togethers should be improving the relationship between humans and human religion is the most superior one, said Shri Kshethra Kemaru Sandipani Sadhanashrama Yati Shri Ishavittaladasa Swamiji.

 


 
He was speaking in his asheervachana in the Cordial Christmas Get-together 2011 organized by Catholic Sabha mangalore and Shirva Church on the occasion of Christmas, on Saturday. In Indian culture the position of mother is sacred and mother’s lap is the most sacred place. A good cultured woman can buld a strong society, he said.
 
Mangalore ‘Anupama’ monthly magazine editor Shahanaz M. spoke and said that the cordiality that exists in India is nowhere else in the world. But the togetherness which was there 25 years ago is no more existing. As the concrete buildings are built, the lack of knowledge, misunderstanding, selfishness and the narrow-mindedness the heart becomes concrete. The religious leaders should engage themselves in giving good messages to the people and through such cordial get-togethers the gaps should be filled, she said.
 
Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Stany Tauro gave Christmas message. Catholic Sabha Central committee President Walter Cyril Pinto in his introductory note briefed on the importance of the cordial get-together. Agnes Barboza welcomed the guests and the gathering. On the dias, William Machado, Lancy Corda, Gladis D’Almeida, Jilla Panchayath Member Ida D’Souza, Fr. Navin D’Souza, Arvin D’Souza, Fr. Greshon and Melwin Aranha were present. Gilbert Pinto compeered the program. Secretary Leena Machado proposed vote of thanks.
